For years, the Jasmine Bridal collection for mothers of the bride and groom has been consistently on top as one of the best-selling brand at all of our retailer stores. The goal with our Jade Couture & Jade Collection MOB designs this upcoming season is to fulfill the needs of mothers by giving her a more youthful appearance. Every season we continue to grow on what we have done the best over the years; Jasmine Bridal’s collection make mothers feel young at heart. We want to capture the growing market of younger, fitter and, to be quite honest, sexier moms.

A shopping experience for mothers of the bride should also be special and flipping through racks is far from that. Department and specialty store gowns for moms don’t give these women the same confidence and poise like our dress collections for mothers do. Not only do the designs make her feel important, but it’s the fabrics that we work with that make her most comfortable. This season, we constructed MOB dresses with stretch fabrics, dramatic silhouettes and entrance-making drapery. By cinching the waistline, our Jasmine mothers can hide the parts that they don’t find flattering and feel more confident and beautiful in our dresses. Aside from the bride, her mother as well as the groom’s mother are the next most important women at the wedding and we strive to make these ladies feel that way. Colors have always played a big part in selecting the perfect MOB/G dress and this season we’ve got our eye on bright hues. So long pastels, bold is having moment!

Take a look at some of our favorites from the Spring 2020 collections to get a hint of what to expect this upcoming season.

DRAMA This bright and vivid magenta gown gives us that little bit of drama with its flyaway chiffon sleeves. The dramatic sleeves were thoughtfully designed so mothers feel secure and have that right amount of confidence and flair to their look. They provide the right amount of arm coverage but still stays on trend with its flowy drape. The lovely stretch crepe skims the body giving her modest curves and appeals to the reserved client who doesn’t want to steal the show, but will most definitely want to shine. To make mom sparkle, we accented the shoulders with an intricate lace pattern of beading and gave her a lovely cinched waist with delicate beads that match the magenta hue without blending in too much.

HOLLYWOOD What woman wouldn’t want to feel like a movie star? This black lace dress belongs on the red carpet and any mother would feel like a million bucks wearing it. On her daughter or son’s wedding day, mothers want to stand out and feel beautiful as well and this mermaid fit does just that. The French-inspired corded lace is lined in nude to show off its fabric detailing and hugs the body in all of the right places. The lace flows from the bodice down to the flared skirt giving the raw lace trim some dimension and texture to the dress. You can find slightly exaggerated ruching on the sleeves that are made out of fine tulle. The ruching covers up the arms stylishly so that mothers can confidently wear this stunning gown and feel dazzling. This dress is the perfect outfit of choice for a black-tie formal wedding.

GLAMOROUS Once she tries this dress on, any mom will not want to take it off. We went a different route with the embroidery and used a tonal hue against the main color of the gown and the result was gorgeous! The bright lace details gave the dress lots of striking dimension, resembling a jacquard design. The Sabrina neckline and cap sleeves gently caress her in the most tasteful way while the beaded waistband brings it all in for a clean altogether look. The sheer neckline fabrics adorned with the embroidered lace reveal a sweetheart bodice. Pairing that with simple ballgown skirt is effortless and will flow on the dance floor just as beautifully as down the aisle.

CURVY DELIGHTS The most problem areas for mothers are their bellies and the way this soft jersey fabric thoughtfully drapes at the torso is the perfection solution. The pattern of drapery is so tasteful as it cinches at the right hip and continues to flow downward to elongate her frame. One of our favorite attributes of this gown is the way we combined the gorgeous lace sleeves with the stretch jersey and then finished the collar with tonal beading. The luxe hand-beaded trim gives some charming dimension making it pop right off the gown. The lovely cascading skirt keeps the dress interesting, perfectly balancing out the shimmering details up top.

SOPHISTICATED We are loving this Mikado moment encompassing simplicity, elegance, and sophistication. The Art Deco-style beadwork beautiful drapes down the shoulder in a line pattern, finishing off the cap sleeve with a swirly beaded trim. The ornate waistband that compliments the cap sleeves tightens and embellishes the waist, an asset that is important when framing a mother’s body. Mothers will also love the 1960’s throwback A-line simple silhouette. The hidden pockets are a minor, yet so convenient detail that anyone wearing this will appreciate. MOBs can easily go from day to evening with this gown. And we recommend pairing this showstopper with an updo to show off its shimmering details.
