ALL ABOUT JOSE

Jose Dias attended Fashion Institute of Technology in his native, NYC. He began designing eveningwear and later went on to design bridal gowns. After Thirty-six years, he continues to thrive in the industry.

Jose joined the Jasmine team in early 2019. He was drawn to the extensive history of the company and how Jasmine dresses the entire bridal party. “I had been solely designing wedding gowns for over 14 years and missed colored goods. The fact that Jasmine owns its factory is also the cherry on top, as they say.” Because of Jasmine’s unrestrictive services and customization offerings, Jose saw an opportunity to creatively widen his spectrum of design.

His creative philosophy has remained the same from day one; something learned at his first job that has stuck with him throughout the years. That design philosophy is to “look timeless and classic. And always introduce something modern, yet still completely you.” Jose has always been inspired by his idea of beauty and things found in nature. I love the beauty of what I see in art, architecture and all design forms.
